ABOUT THE GAME
In Yeti Season, your goal is to capture the elusive Yeti of the North. However, to be able to capture him in the snowy mountains, you must first hone your craft on the lesser beasts of the plains, forest and hills. Don't take too long, though, or the Yeti will come for you!
Yeti Season was created for the end of year one production subject as part of the Game Design and Production course.

NOTES
Yeti Season was the first cross discipline study project I worked on. It was a great experience to start learning about the production pipelines of other Game Development disciplines to plan the production effectively and scope appropriately.
I was the producer for this project and had a great team to work with, which led to a project with fantastic cohesion across all aspects of the game. I also took the role of primary sound designer, as well as working along side other designers for level design and mechanics design and UI design. I also had my first introduction to cutscenes in Unity for this project.

Top down perspective combat

Two weapons implemented, TranqBow for reducing animal health, net for capturing animals at low health

"Zoom" system for TranqBow where player can extend view to shoot at further targets

Four different areas with different aesthetics and animals available for capture

Three different animals to capture; rabbit, wolf and bear

Animals locked behind an experience system; reduced damage dealt to higher level animals until levelled up
